Yeah, finally it’s Halloween, and don’t let our cats sad for not being involved in this great event. These are festive, joyful times and, as cat-lovers, we want to include our feline family members in the celebration too. There are a lot of adorable pictures of cat or other pets dressed as anything, and it’s so cute. And the pet owners usually just take pictures of them and post them to social media or something. But, are costumes for cats a good idea?
Well, it depends. In general, cats are a bit finicky about the way they are handled. And many of them become afraid of the clothing that will be wore to them. A fearful cat may scratch or even bite the owners or the person who dress them. And then they may just freezing in place and not going anywhere.They may not move around normally with the cloth that they wear, and it can affect their eating, drinking, and elimination (they may stop doing all of those things or they may urinate or defecate outside of the litter box). The summary is, the cat may enjoy the holidays and the festival more without a costume.

If you do dress your cat up for the holidays, consider a few things first. Be sure to choose a costume without long strings or ribbons. Because those things can endangering the cats, these things can catch on things around the house, or even they might chew on and ingest it. And this can risk their health.
Better inspect the garment for loose buttons, snaps, or other decorations. Also, consider the type of the material of the costume is made from. Because if the material may contain chemicals that can be harmful if your cats lick or even inhale their costume. So choose carefully the costume for your cats and make sure they fell comfort when wearing it.
